Blount County Courthouse is an expressive acrylic painting that celebrates the vibrant spirit of urban life and the beauty of spontaneous creation. Painted in a single, intuitive session, this original artwork captures the luminous energy of this stunning building in downtown Maryville, Tennessee, where architecture and rich sweeps of color bring this building to life.

In this richly layered mosaic of color, structure meets spontaneity. Bethany spotted this building, drove to it, and immediately began capturing photos to bring the building to life in her studio, captivated by the clock tower. The composition pulses with rhythmic brushwork and unapologetic color, reflecting a uniquely neurodivergent lens: one that sees harmony in contrast and power in perception.

Each stroke is intentional, each edge deliberate, preserving a moment of clarity, movement, and joy. This is not just a painting of a city, it’s a meditation on sensory experience, a celebration of sharp focus in a lively world.

Perfect for city lovers, art collectors, and those who appreciate the fusion of architectural form and emotional expression, this piece invites viewers to pause, breathe, and feel the beat of the streets.
