The Quiet Bloom is the fifth in the Blooming Botanical Collection. This piece was named for a flower that blooms in silence, perhaps both unseen and unheard, yet still it continues to blossom into a stunning bloom.
Painted with acrylic on canvas from January to May 2025 and finished on Thursday, May 29th. Varnished with a glossy finish.
Comes framed unless otherwise requested.
Framing: Canvas is 0.75" thick so it does not require a frame to hang, however this piece comes framed in a handmade wooden gold leafed frame unless requested otherwise.

This piece was my first painting after a several-year hiatus and captures a monumental moment.
After several years away from painting, I sat in front of a blank canvas with trembling hands and no idea what would come out. What emerged were two peonies. Soft, layered, and quietly resilient. This was the first piece and inspired me to begin my new Blooming Botanical collection, created at a time when I was finding my way back to myself. Each petal represents a small part of that return — uncertain, but full of hope. It reminded me that blooming doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful, blooming still happens even in a quiet relisience.
