Developmental Edits and Critiques
I'm happy to look over your manuscript, illustrations, hear your ideas and more. Be aware that if you book this, I'm going to be honest because I want you to have your best chance at success.
This may mean suggesting work on the story, suggesting another round of grammatical edits, or tweaks of illustrations.
Remember this is simply my opinion as an professional in this field. This option is heavily requested and pricing varies based on what you'd like to me look at and what advice you're seeking.
Be aware that I have a Patreon group where I offer the ability to DM me one-on-one with questions. While this doesn't account for a full critique, I'm always happy to guide in terms of troubleshooting, being a listening ear, or advice.
Children's Book Formatting
I'd love to format your book, however you will need the following before propsing your project:
- Finalized text that has been professionally edited
- Finalized professional illustrations sized to your requested book size and knowledge of where you'd like them in the book
- Knowledge of the file types you need (I will provide a .PDF (for paperback and hardcover print) and a raw, editable file for you in .IDML format.
What I do:
- Format your text and illustrations and provide text options.
- Listen to any notes you have. Otherwise, I will format them in a style most appropriate to the current market.
Please be aware that I do teach how to format your book for free. I love sharing information and encouraging learning.
Pricing begins at $600.
