Elysium is the first in the Blooming Botanical Collection. This piece was named after the Elysian Fields in ancient Greek mythology, which was told to be an eternal paradise for heroes, those granted immortality by the gods, and the blessed dead.
The original painting was created with acrylic paint on canvas from September to October 2024, finished on Saturday, October 12th, and varnished with a glossy finish.
The original piece has been selected to be featured in the following exhibitions:
- The Emporium Annual Show, December 2024, Knoxville, Tennessee
